Default Tape Wrapped Around SEC

Is this acceptable? I'm presuming a nick in the SEC that prompted taping. Would you mention this? Thanks!

I wouldnt,...... SEC cable (or any cable for that matter) is subject to damage,... from delivery, storage, installation etc. Obviously they took the time to repair a small defect.

Looks repaired to me.

Any sparkies that can identify the maker of that no-ox compound? Nothing I've ever used.

I would not concern myself too much over a repair like this that is accessible. It is the repairs you CANT see that make us worry. This one obviously was cared for and should not present any problems.
