Default Trivia question: What's a "Gold Medallion Home"?

Anyone know what this is? (I know the answer. Wondering if anyone else does.) Age of home is 1964. Medallion is fixed to the exterior.

Its All-Electric Home, displayed an emblem near the front door proclaiming that the visitor stood on the threshold of a "Gold Medallion,

we also had "blue flame" homes from the gas company at the same time in the 60's
