This meter panel was in the shade at 9:30am on the west side of the house.
The only thing powered in the vacant house was an energy saver type bulb at the garage coach light. The main panel on the other side of the wall did not have any warm areas at all except at the conduit stub coming in from the meter panel. The meter panel got cooler later on as I had various loads running in the house instead of warmer. Could have been heated up before I got there from a reflection off the neighbors east side window maybe but why not the vinyl siding. I actually found this before I got the IR camera out. If the electronic type meter produces heat why would it produce less with loads present?
