This is a very interesting way to wire the electric water heater. Why don't we just wire it directly to the dryer receptacle and save some time. Unbelievable. I can't believe this think has been wired like this all along.

I like the dual use aspect of it.
Was the 12 wire hooked to a 20 or 30 amp breaker? |
