For the commercial inspector, what's to inspect here on the roof top?
I took this from a plane but forgot where, do you recognize the buildings? Last edited by jtedesco1; 1/22/08 at 8:12 AM.. |

I can see them from my roof top here in the North End!
I was hoping to get some input related to the equipment on the roof tops and discuss the electrical and other systems and how the inspector would go about checking the building out. |

Thanks Gerry, I have others from all over the country and am amazed at the aerial views I see.
I am sure you see many items that can be discussed, let's start with the receptacles on the roof top, and equipment disconnects. Care to expand on this? |

Suffice to say that the roofs are not the baren desert many think they are, sometimes figuring out what is what can be trying, HVAC equipment, lighting, lightening protection, signage, and on many highrises you can also be knee deep in telecomunications towers and switch gear.
