Age Please

I know, I know I will be getting the book soon. Until then, Weil McClain Boiler CP 1800975

TIA:D

I rarely get stumped on HVAC ages, but I’m stumped on that one. If I had to take a guess, I’d say the 18th week of 2000. However, I’ve learned that when there are two alpha characters there, they can indicate the month and year with the numeric characters being simply a consecutive unit number. Not having any information on McClain, I can’t confirm anything either way for you.

I find Weil McClain data impossible to work with. On many units they have a data tag located on the outside of the jacket that either contains or is expressed as a UPC number. Somehow, somewhere within that UPC data lies the hidden information you seek. You may need to contact them

Somehow I missed the “Weil” part of the post. For most Weil McClain stuff, I believe the last two digits are the year, so I would put that at one at 1975.
