I need some help with the age of TRANE electric furnace. Serial # 2294RFD1V. Model # 4TEP3F36A1000 AA.

That serial number doesn't match any Trane serial numbers in my research, but it sure matches a lot of other companies. I'm thinking that they might have been having a strike, plant shutdown, or some such and contracted manufacturing out to another company.

The type of serial number indicates that it was manufactured in June 1994.
