Default Airtemp furnace age

Serial # 51 N0014. Anyone got a clue? Thanks..

age is determined by model #, not serial #'s. do you have the model #?

Airtemp was made by Chrysler, I believe. They sold out to Fedders in 1976. If is indeed a Chrsysler airtemp, it would have to be 20+ yrs old. At least that's what my notes read.

The 51 indicates January 1975. Sometime in January or February 1975 they switched to a different system but I do have a couple of other 51 serial numbers in my records that were corroborated with installation dates, building construction dates, and/or ANSI dates.
