Default Amana furnace age
Hey there,

I need to determine the age of an Amana furnace. The serial # is 9108033656. I'm thinking 1991 but I need to be sure. Anyone know? Thanks.

August 1991 do you have the model number

Welcome to NACHI.

Amana has been bought by Goodman.

Goodman states that the first two digits of the serial number are the year. Second two are the month.

So it appears to be manufactured in August of 1991.
