Looks similar to the junker I posted a while back I assuming a upflow blower with the opening of the A-coil being on the return side which in my opinion should be on the discharge side of the blower. I see the filter in the wall but the opening at the bottom of the closet door is going to allow bypass of the return air filter even with the door closed

I recommended duct taping the bottom of the door.
