Has anyone here inspected geothermal systems? The Internet's full of info on how they work but I can't find much about how to inspect them. Any advice or useful links?

I brought in a contractor who installs and services them for the times I needed to inspect them.

geothermal is a water sourse heat pump. instead of an outdoor condenser, the water cooled condenser is in with the compressor section. I'm not an inspector yet but have been in the hvac field since '82. you'd probably turn it on and run it in heating and check air flow and temps, then switch to cooling, wait 1/2 hour and check again.
