Default Armstrong oil-fired furnace date

Can anyone tell me the date of manufacture of an Armstrong oil-fired furnace model LUF80B84/95D16-43 (Ser# 8402A1916)? Thanks.

Feb. 1984 would be the other option

Once again my $70 Technical Reference Guide from Carson-Dunlop has let me down. Surprising from a company that puts out very good reference and educational material.

January 2002.

After 1974 or so, the first two digits are the manufacturing plant, the third and fourth digits are the year, and the letter is the month (A-M).
