I have not seen this before and thought I would check with you all. Type B from furnace and H2O heater vent pops out just above grade and is routed up through the roof. It is vulnerable, but is it wrong?

Not a good idea to block egress at the window well and it should have a grate.
Should have a red sealant at the brick i would think , to stop water issues. I can't see the opening in the soffit. |
