I have heard, when a oil fired Burnham boiler is vented through the sidewall it needs a power vent attached, forcing the exhaust to the exterior. I looked on line and I haven't found any thing to justify this claim. Any info would help, thanks

Back in the day oil burners that had Low stack temp needed a power vent . Problems with stack temp below 300 . I would check with the Manufacture and see what they suggest.
