Hello everyone,
I'm new to the industry and did an inspection. The house is 3 yrs old and the seller took the bollard(metal post)in front of the water heater in the garage. Is this a safety issue since it was there for a safety purpose? How I should write this up. I appreciate for all your inputs on this. Macky |

Just describe it as a water heater is missing its bollards that were used to protect it from vehicle damage. Refer IRC 1307.3.1 or UPC 510.3. This information is readily available in layman's terms in Code Check.

WOW!you got to be hard up to just remove the protective bollards .Especially since it may have a severe impact on him selling the home.
