Buderus Age?

Have a serial number for a Buderus unit, but can't figure it's age from it.

That's an odd serial number format. I haven't a clue, but if I had to take a guess based on experience, here's what I would guess: It was manufactured in December 1972 and was the 1,339 unit manufactured for the year. Could be waaaaaaaaaaaaaay off base, but that would jibe with other smaller, local manufacturers that I have in my database.
