Can somebody give me some insight on gurgling refrigerant lines on new construction Goodman heat pump?
Thanks for any advice. BC Last edited by Bill@MyMagicCity.net; 8/10/06 at 9:51 PM.. |

That is common on Goodman units.
The sound is from the restrictor piston at the evaporator coil. This can be an indication of a low refrigerant charge. If all else functions, I would let it go. Grab the suction line. If it is cool-cold to the touch, there is likely sufficient refrigerant charge. |
