The only reason I am here as a HI is because someone got sick and tired of buying their clients HVAC units after selling the house in the winter!

I still get $500, 1200 sf inspections from clients that want to know....

Once you come out of your box and learn something about HVAC, you can just walk by and look at a unit and tell if it is working! Then follow up by "touching" it to confirm. It takes not more time than taking the useless dry bulb temp y'all hold so dear and don't know how to interpret.

Charlie and I could teach any of you to do this if we could get past the naysayers!

I have never seen a coil like Charlie pulled out of his house!
If you think you can't learn something your dead wrong. I learn something every day, because I get out of that box!

Nice statement David; I don't think there has ever been a house that I inspected that I did not learn something new

Not if everyone has gotten used to getting most everything for free or next to free and then you have to increase fees to pay for improvements. It's next to impossible to raise fees when history prevails!! Good rigorous education and its improvement is really not a cheap process.

Exactly!

This industry suffers from too many giving away too much for way to little.
