Default Capped drain line vent

The vent of the drain line has been capped. (see picture). OK? yes/no? I'm thinking no.

I've seen them both ways. I like to see it capped as I've felt a good bit of expelled 'conditioned air' from some of them....

Non answer, I know.

Don't want to break your bubble but that is not a vent its a cleanout. Condensate drains are open ended and don't require a vent. We normally put those little cuties on to add bleach to clean the line and it has a cap to prevent air loss
