Default Chimney close to deck/patio
Would you call out chimney this close to a patio? One of the two chimneys is inactive. I am aware of the 2 feet higher than anything within 10 feet rule and this seems to satisfy that rule. What do you think?

If you checked the flashings at the relined chimney and they're OK, there's really nothing technically wrong with this....just a bit of bad design.

It most likely is Ok but what do you think of this one?

Another one of those instances that begin to make me believe that Darwin's theory of evolution and natural selection is wrong:

the weak (and the stupid) are not weeded out of some populations!!!
