Default clearance of side wall exhaust for FP

Whats the allowable clearance of a gas only fireplace side wall exhuast to vinyl siding? I measured 4 inches to the right side wall. The house is 7 years old and no signs of excessive heat.
See the photo.

Do you know the model? Check their web site for clearances. ultimately it would come down to your local codes.

It really depends on the manufactures installation instructions. Having said that I have seen some that allow clearances as low as 1" to combustibles.
