Default Condensate Drain

The main condensate drain from the air handler ties to the same drain from the water heater drip pan and then ties to another condensate drain and into a waste vent pipe. Opinions. Thanks

Default Re: Condensate Drain

I do not have a problem as pictured. But I would like to know how it is tied into the DWV piping.. If it is into the system with the proper fittings up stream of a trap that is being used it should be ok....

I'd recommend a clean-out upstream of the P-trap.
