Very, very close, but I believe on that one (a 10-digit serial number instead of their standard 9-digit number), the "L" is the manufacturing plant, leaving the 8835 as the year and week.

Was the L preprinted as part of the label plate? That would make it a definitive manufacturing plant letter.
