Default Is this flex hose capped ? On Heater unit.

I looked in the attic and assumed this flex hose was open unconnected
Without a cut-off. Anybody see anything different.

It's hard to tell on my 10" monitor, but it appears to be a quick release - which is not allowed for residential applications. It's likey not even listed for natural-gas.

is there a drain pan under the coil
