Default Gas Dryer Duct
Can it be vented upwards like a waterheater. Every dryer duct Ive see always had the ducting venting down or horizontal. I came across one
where it it was vented upward toward the soffit.

I have seen a couple vented upwards then horizontal to wall vent, never any in the soffit. Check manufactures specs.

We see them going through the roof all of the time in Florida. They do seem to get clogged quite a bit.
