Default Gas dryer line...need help

The line has piping coming from two directions. The right
side is coming from the kitchen. The left side is coming from the garage.
Is that ok? The other thing is the pipe is galvanized, ( not the black gas pipe). Is the black gas pipe a requirement also ?

It is acceptable in rural Missouri. Now California may be different.

Galv is ok in CA.

I think you'll find that one of those is a continuation or a feed to another appliance.

If it's supported properly, it should be fine. It looks like just a 'T' coming off the gas run. Also, if it's galvanized, I would recommend having a drip leg near that shut-off. In case of flaking inside the pipe.
