Russel, by the looks of the unit, I would say < 10 years..

Hey, Tab. I wouldn't judge by looks in Yuma. I often find stuff here that looks really new, only to find out that it's from the '70s or '80s. Our desert climate has a lot to do with it. When I worked in Texas, my brand new stuff looked 30 years old after the first year.

Russel, I agree with you. I see it all the time with water heaters that are exposed. I do not think mini splits were made more than 10-15 years ago though.
