Default Help with Amana age?

The Model # was a little torn and worn after the SPD so I could not read a couple of them but this is what I got-SPD...40701A. Serial # 9103077436

It is a gas comb. unit

First two digits of the serial number are the year. Second two are the month.

1991 - March

Thanks for the quick response Jae. I always thought Amanas were more complicated than that.

They used to use what was called the "blackhorse" system--very complicated. The company was sold to Goodman about 1988 and everything got easier.
