Default Help with Luxaire Furnace Age

Model Number: PCLU-LD12H080A
Serial Number: EMFM38864

This one has me stumped. The big issue for this one is there was a flood in our area in 97 and this house was near the flood zone. If the age of the furnace was during this year, the house is suspect. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Greg,

Prestons lists that model number for 1996 and 1997

Regards

Gerry

Luxaire was formerly part of Westinghouse and is now part of York.

When there are three or four letters at the start of the serial number, the third letter is the year. A is 1992, B is 1993, C is 1994, D is 1995, E is 1996 and F is 1997.

1997
