Can someone help me please......??? The house was built in 1996.

That's similar to what I find quite often here in San Diego. The house comes with a furnace but cooling is added many years later. In your case, the ASF is October 1995 and the Ducane is 2004, but I don't remember whether it would be January 2004 or April 2004 and I'm out at On The Border right now with 39 attorneys having margaritas. They find the iNACHI message board interesting--alive and exciting, certainly not like their attorney message boards.
