Default Hot Air furnace installed on wood floor

Hi All,

Ran into this yesterday. Gas fired furnace units installed directly over wood floors.

Actually 3 of them in three different units. Anyone have a definitive reason why this is a bad idea.

Thanks

Fresh air source & standards& code violations?
Combustion air source & code violations?
Flammables too close!
Burner & heat exchanger conditions on old furnace?
Gas piping?
Flue vent piping?
How many others?
Needs CLOSE examination and repairs or replacement by LICENSED heating contractor;
Let someone else with specialty license assume liability!!!
