Default Ice on refrigerant lines at compressor.
Had one today warm air at evaporator coil and ice on refrigerant line. I called it out, as no temp differential and the ice. Just wanted to know what could be the cause. dirty a-coil? or improper gas ? too much or too little? not trying.

Dirty coil, blower or other air flow issue.

The two most common causes of frost on the suction line is low air flow across the evap and or low on freon can be a combination of both. an over charge of freon does not cause frost. The suction pressure has to be below 55 PSIG in order to freeze the moisture on the line.

Charlie, I took my new camera on inspection today! It was a pre-listing for a former client.

Got some great shots! None of which I will use in their report. Just for me!!

Will post when I get all my stuff out of the truck.

You need one of these things!
