Default Iowa Codes and Licensing
Just to info you. Due to the reluctance of many municipalities to adopt building codes the Iowa Legislature passed a state wide building code in spring of 2007. They also passed state wide licensing of electricians, plumbers, HVAC and Refrigeration trades. Not just the companies but all apprentices and journeymen must be licensed as well.
