For that type of number, the first digit is the year and the second and third digites are the week, but only for the 1980s and 1990s. So around July 1985 or July 1995.

Thanks very much. I have a feeling that its likely from 1985. I informed the clients that it was an older, less efficient model and that they should budget for a replacement.
