Default Magic Chef furnace age?
model # G6A100DC13-13 serial #A08031GHB. I'm guessing 1980.

I had one the other day that said Magic Chef, Armstrong. Serial # 16568 K9B. Did the one you checked say Armstrong?

Prestons gives me the following...

G6A100D was manufactured in 1985. 100,000 BTU's.
