Default NG vs LP gas logs?

hi all, two part question here. aside from being labeled, can you tell the difference between the two? and can LP logs be used on NG? or NG on LP?

The difference is the threaded Orifice installed at the burner assembly.

Part two.

The logs can be used for either LP or NG, but the appropriate orifice must be used.

The issue with gas fire places used with propane gas is the sooting that occurs. When LP is used properly placing the materials used to enhance the flame is very important. Ive installed many gas fireplaces and never seen the option for LP log sets. Just LP conversion kits that included orifices, new spring for valave and a lot of stickers.
