Default Nice return air plenum EXCEPT

It will have to be removed as it it drawing return from the garage. Some folks have to work real hard to be dumb and some folks are just naturally that way???? This was from this morning's Inspect I almost fell from the attic excess hole when I saw this.

Something does not look right with the ceiling joist, can you elaborate on that too.?

You damn well know you can cut joists at random.....

To be honest it is hard to tell if it was done wrong.

If you cut up to three that is... after that it is just too many.
And only three cut ones can be under a single bathtub. Pretty sure that is code...

Yes Marcel they cut the ceiling joist don't know why the plenum would have fit between the joist if they had turned it the opposite direction. They did box the ceiling joist in and they did surprise me. I just wrote the whole mess up all I can do.
