1977 Ham can style Carrier still operating like new, never had a compressor change out all original except controls. It outlasted the furnace which was changed out in 1995:D. I was a Carrier Dealer in 1977 they made some good units.

Can you define SEER prolly one of the biggest consumer frauds ever imposed but it sure did increase the price of a unit:shock:
Changing out the lineset is going to be a pain.
