Serial Number H31682423 Ansi didn't reveal a date. This is a 47 year old home Any help in determining the age would be appreciated. |

I have a lot of Sears units in my area from that era. All still going strong. I think it has something to do with the lack of use in our climate. NACHI 2005 U.S. Member of the Year

Yes.
Sears is one of those problematic brands because Sears never manufactured anything. So during the life of Sears, one can find virtually every manufacturer providing their water heaters to Sears at some point in time. NACHI 2005 U.S. Member of the Year
