What does it mean when your HVAC guy ask:

Is this system a spider or a loop? How many openings? Is there a separate return system or is the return at the air handler?

Thanks

Must be Yankee language don't use those therms down here.

Trunk lines and drops on the supply side.

Returns are local and remote Remote requires duct work local has an opening at usually the bottom of the furnace into a hall or living area. Locals are less desirable due to blower noise.
