Default wonderful plumbers here

I think we have some wonderful plumbers here. Gap at bottom of connection must be for moisture to run out ontop of the furnace

Looks like 6" going into 7" or 7" ino 8". Haven't they ever heard of "increasers" or transition fittings?

Why are plumbers doing the tinbangers (sheet metal) work.......that may be the problem!!!

It's a southern thing, and usually not done close to correct, as depicted
