Charley what would you say about the screened wire around this unit?

I see it quite a bit here we have lots of cotton wood fuzz its a good Idea lets one see when the condenser needs cleaned and it does not sufficiently block any air flow unless one fails to clean it because it stops up faster than the opening of the condenser.

Its just not pretty but functional;-)

Thanks!! We have cottonwood trees, and they clogged the coils and your fishing line in the spring. Just never saw this before.

You can buy these and they are designed for that specific purpose.
I believe there is also training on this for highrise buildings but can’t remember which firm does it.
