Default York A/C & Furnace Serial No Decoding Help

I don't run into these very often and need help decoding the age from the S/N. Unitary Products Group is the manufacture. In this case it had the York name on it. I'm making an assumtion that GM has something do to with the year. Just don't know the sequence.

A/C Unit: Model H2DB024S06B Serial: (S) EGGM255175
Furnace: Model: P3URB10N05501B Serial: EFGM186034

Thanks in advance for your help!

1981 for both.

Is that consistant with the age of the house?

Not even close! The home was built in 1913. It always makes it more of a challenge when it's a replacement furnace . And that makes it interesting how HVAC contactors in the past felt is was perfectly fine to notch any joist or girder as they saw fit to get that register installed without tearing the asbestos wrap!

I would have thought it was 10 to 15 years old not 20+ years. It's a two pipe heat exchanger 90% eff. Maybe 1991

To determine year of manufacture:

Could not see due to interference. And those lables are horrible to read! 1998 would be most correct as far as everything else with the system that I saw today.
