Default asbestos abatement

sellers of a home had abatement co. come in to encapsulate asbestos tape on ductwork.

the stuff they sprayed on looks almost exactly like "great stuff" in a can.

i have a pic, but shouldn't need it as it's similar appearance to "great stuff" is uncanny.

never seen this and want to know if others have.

seller claims the co. told him to hose down the basement floor in case they kicked up any "dust" when they did it.

any insite would be great.

I would refrain from offering advice on the issue. It's a specialist issue mingled with hearsay.

Chris I would poke around on some Illinois state web sites and the EPA web site to investigate asbestos abatement protocol. And suggests your clients that they attain all documentation from the seller pertaining to the work
