Galvinized gas line ?

I just had a random call from a realtor asking is galvinized gas line feeding the home is code?
His customer says that someone told them that it was not up to code?
It is a established home, unknown age.
I suggested contacting the local gas provider to inspect the main.
Any info would be very helpful.

You done right.
It probably isn't written in any "code", but the PO CO usually has an opinion. And that will vary from one jurisdiction to another.
