[FONT=Arial]I recently asked Tim Taylor of the Georgia Department of Agriculture to comment upon home inspectors performing visual-only home inspections and discovering wood damage. It seems that if a home inspector in Georgia sees wood damage, and the inspector does NOT attempt to identify the insect, but, rather, calls for a state-licensed pest control company to further inspect the home, that would be acceptable to the state.

I would agree that as long as they are recommending a license pest control company to come look at it and not trying to identify it as termite damage that would be ok.
