Looking to id these guys seen in basement .
Did not notice anything at exterior side floor structure area.

OK so not termites.
Ants are normal if that is all.

Termites will have mud tubes. In Illinois you need to be a licensed pest control technician to identify.

yes looks a carpenter ant right size , but the larva not sure what that is
