Default January is National Radon Action Month.

Dear IAQ Partners,

January is National Radon Action Month, a time for radon stakeholders to ramp up coordination of events and activities to increase radon awareness and reduce health risks from indoor radon. Many exciting new initiatives are under way for the 2007 National Radon Action Month and EPA would like to share these developments with you. Please join EPA and other radon stakeholders in person or by phone at a planning meeting for the 2007 National Radon Action Month. Hear about the new initiatives, as well as the National Radon Action Month success stories of past. Discuss ideas to leverage National Radon Action Month to help your organization achieve its radon awareness and risk-reduction goals.
See the new radon pubic service announcement campaign, and learn tips for generating media coverage for your National Radon Action Month events and activities. Please save the date for this important meeting: Thursday, September 7, 2006, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., EPA, Room 152, 1310 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20460. If you are unable to attend in person, please call-in. At the specified time, dial 866-299-3188; when prompted, enter 2023439206#. Please send Gina Bowler (bowler.gina@epa.gov) your RSVP by Wednesday, August 30, 2006 (extended from Friday, August 18 with your name, organization, phone number, and e-mail address. If you have questions, please contact Gina Bowler (202-343-9206) or Jeremy Ames (202-343-9615). An agenda for the meeting is forthcoming soon. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting and working together to make the 2007 National Radon Action Month a huge success.
