Default Liability insurance for radon testing (Is radon a pest?)
I just received a copy of my policy. They have the business description as "pest control" All I'm doing right now is radon tests with charcoal canisters. I've explained to my local agent what I'm doing and I thought she understood. She has a copy of my state registration. Perhaps pest control was the closest she could find. I'm going to drop this pest control liability insurance tomorrow, but I need something to replace it. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Radon like mold is an environmental issue. We have never had a problem obtaining liability, with E&O for that matter. I'm sure IAC2 should be able to recommend someone in your area for coverage for HI performing radon tests.
