Visit to AIR-CHEK Lab

Last week while visiting the Fletcher, North Carolina area, I had the opportunity to stop by the AIR-CHEK Radon laboratory. I did not have an appointment, but I was treated as if I did.
I was greeted with a friendly welcome by two staff members.
When I told them I was visiting the area and wanted to stop by and introduce myself as one of their satisfied customers from up north, that got me an additional welcome to the area.
I was introduced to Mr. Shawn Price, program manager.
Shawn also greeted me with a big North Carolina welcome and proceeded to explain the operation and their services.
Shawn also gave me a tour of the facility, explaining what happens when Radon tests arrive and how they proceed thru the eveluation process.
I was also given a tour of the production area, which was the highlight of my tour. I saw how Radon test kits are manufactured and packaged. Truely an interesting process.
I would highly recommend anyone visiting the area, stop by and visit Shawn Price and his staff.
